At Giffgaff we think it’s better to give than to receive. The idea: Giffers who share the same birthday can send a gift to another random gaffer, and in turn receive one from someone else! It’s a chain of mutual giving, surprise and wonder, every day. Existing members would be rewarded because they'd get a random and memorable gift from another community member from around the world. It's showcasing the community as a community, almost like a wider family.
