Chef Bill McCarrick was behind the creation of the Opera Cake. This publication celebrates this creation and the reason it is so unique. The cake comes in 4 variations of flavour inspired by ingredients and flavours of particular locations around the world. Flavour variations inspired by particular geographic locations including Asia, Scandinavia, Mediterranean and Australia. The book is incased in a 3mm clear perspex slipcase designed to fit the book within. Cover illustrations are the varied ingredients within the cake variations. The book folds out to display 4 booklets within that display each flavour combination as a separate 'layer'. The reader is given a backstory to each cake variation and goes on a taste journey.
