Shot by experimental filmmaker Natasha Cantwell, the lush colors of the Melbourne locations were captured vividly on 16mm film shortly before the Australian summer bushfires covered the city in a smoke haze, and the heat waves turned the parkland crispy brown. The music video captures the experimental filmmaker’s take on the lyric “and we can both live out our lives and grow old” with one dancer succumbing to life’s inevitabilities and the other fighting against them.
