godless_existence

'godless_existence' is a documentary project about Banu, a gay hedonist and Fashion Design student at the London College of Fashion. The project is straightforward and shows the heroine in her home in London. From a technical point of view, I intend to balance colour matching and composition amidst the existential chaos. However, I always leave the viewer to decide and layer the meaning. By looking at the world differently and seeing anything and everything as if always for the first time, I intentionally collaborate with the viewer's imagination, pushing to overdrive by examining my works. Project shot on a point-and-shoot Leica with flash. At the moment, I am exploring and inspired by the early works of Jurgen Teller (with Venetia Scott), Terry Richardson, David Sims, Craig McDean, Judy Blame and many others.
