Good News - Unsigned Prize of Illustration

A standalone piece for the Unsigned Prize for Illustration. The brief was 'Good News', so I wanted to celebrate how nature has slowly come back due to the absence of people outside. I've noticed more butterflies and birds when I go for walks, and it's great to see less CO2 emissions as well. We may not have this for too long as we integrate back into normality, but we can celebrate this little victory during such a turbulent time. Drawn and animated in Procreate.
