GoodWaste proposes a new model of local, circular manufacturing that sources waste material from factories around London and uses it to produce objects that meet local needs. We study the material flows of a particular area as well as the local communities surrounding it, in order to effectively close loops by making useful objects from so-called ‘waste’. The overall project was done collaboratively between myself, Ewan Alston and Rafael El Baz, but within that we had individual object outputs. Mine are a series of vases and clocks made in Corian and marble.
