Graduate Collection

Completing my Graduate collection from home during Covid-19. Looking at the 1920/30’s as my starting point, Paul Poiret and Erte were huge inspirations for my final collection alongside art deco furniture and movie stars’ costumes. Erte’s fashion illustration of a woman in a sort of chain/ caged dress reminded me of macrame and knitting. I used this macrame technique as a kind of knitwear effect for my garments alongside the Poiret’s sculptural circular silhouettes.
