Green Foodie

  • Kayleigh Steel

With increasing concerns of CO2 emissions and global warming, what you eat has a significant impact. I have designed an app which would allow users to easily track the CO2 in what they eat alongside a 4-point mantra advertised throughout supermarkets and the redesign of the carbon footprint label to allow users shop for a better footprint. For every Low CO2 food shop the user will earn points (equating to money) this plants trees to help rebuild forests which absorb our carbon emissions. This money can then be spent on products with companies whom support ethical sustainable and green behaviour.
