Green Tea is a new ethical tea brand that focuses on educating consumers and encouraging better decisions. By buying Green Tea, you are making a conscious decision to help improve the lives of workers in the tea industry whilst also decreasing waste. Green Tea is an info-graphic based piece of branding and packaging. Aimed at the conscious consumer, Green Tea's packaging plays a huge part of showing the shocking statistics surrounding the tea industry. Environmental Concerns, Workers Rights and Green-Washing are the three main areas that we explored within the industry.

Green Tea's logo incorporates the tea fields and the tea leaf itself. This creates a simple, clean and recognisable symbol for the brand.
The colour palette for Green Tea came about when we decided what the three different flavours of Green Tea were going to be. The flavours consist of orange, mint and jasmine. The colours are strong and bold as an individual but also compliment each other side by side.
Using the same thought process and idea to Green Tea's logo, the info-graphic symbols used on the packaging also represent the tea fields. The symbols are easy to create and can be changed according to the numerical information that is displayed.
Our packaging and tea bags are completley natural, compostable and biodegradable. Every element to this piece of packaging is environmentally friendly, from the tea bags themselves to the inks that are used to print the info-graphics.

The packaging is simple and easy to use, with no unnecessary elements. To open the packaging you simply tear the stitching at the top.
We will display banners in supermarkets along with shelf trays where the packet sits on the supermarket shlef. We have also explored how Green tea would look in a 'at home' context.
