Greenpeace is a non-governmental environmental organisation, which focuses on global issues such as stopping climate change, defending oceans, protecting forests, eliminating toxic chemicals and saving the arctic.
This advertisement idea focuses mainly on climate change, specifically global warming. The idea features an exaggerated vision of the London underground Baker Street station in the future. If we don’t act now, we wouldn’t hear the bossy woman’s voice commanding us to “mind the gap” anymore, but rather “mind the fish.” Living forever on or under water due to global warming is something impossible to imagine. However, it could look like my poster. Wouldn’t you wish to hear that bossy woman’s voice again…?
Alongside the futuristic posters, which would work as an on going campaign, I would take the idea to the next level: aquariums would be temporarily installed in the tube stations to make the idea of this bleak future more realistic to people. It would be a very potent and eye opening advertising experience.
