In order to grow a social media we entered fairly late in the game, we tried various types of growth hacking techniques.
The winning strategy was inviting talented photographers to guest post on our accounts for a week.
Engagement and following soared. In 3 months we grew followers on both accounts by 110% and comments blew up by 400%.
Although not our main goal for this campaign, the strategy helped us increase our app downloads, as during that month downloads grew by 40%.
The highlight of the campaign was finding and featuring Rich McCor (aka @paperboyo) who joined us with only 500 followers and today, a few months later, has over 120,000 followers.
