This video is a teaser created around an original composition by the painter and musician Guillermo Coni Molina. For this short piece's production, I contacted various museums of the mining and railway of Ponferrada. After multiple meetings and telematic conversations, I managed to get the NODO videos' minute sheets, with Ponferrada's steel industry images in the 20th century, to be transferred. I went through all the historical archives and then worked on them to create a final small narrative piece that shows the miners' work process and coal transport by train. The edition of this video was completed in premiere pro CS6. The work was created to serve as a teaser for a Found Footage documentary work, which would be composed of original images, and where an older man tells his own story as a worker in the Ponferrada steel mine. His voice reflects how dominant narratives have neglected hundreds of men and women forced to work in the coal mines under harsh conditions to obtain a living wage.
