Gutted Beer

My response to the Hatch Competition set by BrandOpus, in which I came second. The brief for the competition was to create a drink brand that promotes emotional wellbeing. In my research I found out that probiotics have a positive impact on your mental health as 95% of serotonin is produced by gut bacteria. Gutted combines a great taste with probiotics and natural ingredients to create a delicious reduced alcohol beer that keeps your mind and your gut happy.

Billboards and posters would be placed around cities, using playful and witty phrases and slogans to show viewers the light-hearted and positive feel that probiotic beer gives you and encouraging users to try it.
On the website, customers can purchase beer either as an individual six pack purchase of any combination or through a subscription. The site also gives more of an insight into probiotics and their effect on your mental health so customers know exactly what they’re drinking
As the brand expands, Gutted could sponsor events such as festivals, creating pop ups for people to grab a cold pint of probiotic beer whilst they see their favourite artist and take photos next to the 3D bacteria shapes, inspired by the patterns on the can
