Handwriting Fonts

  • Emil Dibble-Chwistek

This is an ongoing project focusing on crafting peoples handwriting into a digital font for their use and others. Individuals were given a guide to display their handwriting to be later constructed digitally. The guide also contained questions that would contribute to their individual type specimens. Everyone’s individual handwriting is their way of communication through their language. From hand to pen to paper. Writing on daily basis we perceive our handwriting as just handwriting. It’s unnoticed being ordinary to us. Despite it being ordinary towards ourselves, it carries our uniqueness and individuality. It holds our differences and facets of ourselves.
