HANX - 'Cindy'

HANX approached me back in May this year, and asked me to creatively direct and shoot their first ever pleasure toy which was being released end of May. I was so delighted to get on board with such a wonderful brand AND even more honoured when the main reference picture was a photo I had taken back in 2021. It's always such a dream to get complete creative freedom. They wanted these images to really set the tone for the brand, and lean into the more sensual side of their personality, within a hazy, dreamy setting, and for these images to feel really feminine, beautiful and dreamy; the epitome of the word 'goddess'. But most importantly, they wanted these photos to appeal to a wide demographic, with the main focus being on women who had been through sexual trauma, menopause, and postpartum and for the product images to not feel scary, overwhelming or intense, which is quite often the way with pleasure products. With the use of natural lighting, shadow play, soft colours, flowers, a beautiful model, and delicate fabrics; these images were created. Such a dream to work on!
