What's the story?

Operating at the very core of blockchain technology, Hashed develop and implement highly complex solutions that enable organisations and networks to thrive in an increasingly autonomous world. From decentralised apps and finance, to asset tokenisation and cryptocurrency, Hashed is helping to transform the digital landscape. The name itself is derived from the function of hashing which forms the very foundation of blockchain technology. Hashing converts data into a digital signature, called a hash, that is used for the retrieval, security and validation of information.

We were tasked with creating a brand identity that would not only demonstrate their expertise in the field, but also cut through the underlying complexity of their solutions, allowing prospective clients to easily understand the advantages of implementing these transformative technologies within their businesses.

The resulting identity and strategic framework is built upon the brand narrative ‘Simplifying the complex’. Guided by this, we created a clear and confident graphic symbol to represent Hashed as being the nucleus for blockchain product development, paired with a wordmark that embodies expertise and assurance.

Taking inspiration from the hashing function, we devised a dynamic visual system aptly named the ‘Hashed Halftone’ that generates halftone images and patterns. The resulting outputs help to represent the complex data structures at play, which when simplified can be easily understood.
