Sagar Steel is a manufacturer of Hastelloy Pipes, a nickel-chromium-molybdenum super-alloy with a tungsten accumulation that has excellent corrosion resistance in a wide variety of unaltered environments. Nickel steel alloys with high nickel and molybdenum content are particularly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion in reducing environments, whereas chromium provides resistance to oxidising media. Hastelloy Pipes widely regarded as the most corrosion-resistant alloy available, performs admirably in a wide variety of chemical process environments, including those involving cupric and ferric chlorides, hot polluted inorganic and organic media, chlorine, acetic and formic acids, acetic anhydride, brine and hypochlorite, seawater, and chlorine dioxide solutions.
