RSA Submission In the UK, hay fever affects around 13 million people. From primary research, people think hay fever packaging is wasteful and bulky as they fit seven small tablets on a blister pack; from experimenting, twenty hay fever tablets can fit on one of these blister packs. Personally I forget to take a hay fever tablet before I leave the house and end up buying more. In my bedroom I found three hay fever packets, including six blister packs, five of these having at least one pill taken out. Collecting further responses, I found that 71% of respondents who have hay fever often forget to take their hay fever tablets before going somewhere and that 62% of them usually go and buy more. I created a reusable system, which includes a plastic tablet dispenser, an app where people can plan events, get suggested reminders based on the pollen count feature in the app, so this way you never end up forgetting and buying more packets.
