Headspace, as an actual space.

Here I sit… on my sofa, dreaming up cool experiences for some of my favourite brands. At Imagination, I work with huge brands on huge projects. Now it's time for something extracurricular… a couple of self-set retail design challenges. I wanted to take a digital brand and sketch out their physical space. A concept that humanises and contextualises their products… Starting with my favourite app this year, Headspace Inc. This is what their space could look like… A kerbside pop-up, for bookable group meditation. Offering mental clarity and human connection, in a zero-touch, covid-safe space. I focussed on 4 themes; Breathe, Change, Joy and Rest. Materiality is nourishing and refined, while colour is balanced and soothing to offer comfort. ‘Breathe’ captures cocooning wintery shades offering a sense of stillness, while ‘Joy’ inspired by sunlight, uses healing pastels, to bring lightness and optimism. Oversized curved seating wraps around the body in embracing ergonomic support and overhead speakers play out guided sessions. Had a lot of fun working on this. What do you think?
