Hear Us & Listen to Us

  • Aloïse Mahé-Stephenson

The project “Hear Us and Listen to Us”, is a cry against the shame and stigma put on women who are victims of sexual assault and sexism. It aims to have women’s voices heard, voices that have been silenced by society for too long. Inspired by the stories of 6 victims of sexual assault and sexism, these women are friends of the designer and include the designer herself. This collection is an ode to women getting their voice back and speaking up. An ode to women regaining ownership of their bodies. Ownership that is so often snatched away from them by patriarchal society. It’s also a cry of denunciation of the perpetrators of sexual assault and sexism in a society that protects them. It’s a cry for education. Educating about consent and boundaries.
