HEARTY HANDMADE GENERAL STORE

A local giftware store owned by a couple with a passion for the arts, local community and reinvigorating the life of the high street. An interior that had to work well commercially so layout, lighting, multi-functionality and an inviting aesthetic, were all key.
 - Design work informed a new unifying brand design carried onto the shop exterior, labelling, packaging and uniforms - A welcoming general store feel used vintage accessories to nod to the tradespeople and professions of bustling Garratt Lane past and present - The former butcher’s tongue and groove walls, meat rack and wooden floor were preserved, a 1950s haberdashery counter and stunning curved French apothecary cabinet were restored and a butcher’s block added as a central island display
