Helena Doyle Installation Project At Stour Space with Young People from Hackney Quest as part of London Craft Week.

  • Sophie Thompson-Semple

I produced this project via Hackney Arts in September - October 2020, after applying for funding from the Hackney Wick & Fish Island Creative Enterprise Zone funded by the Mayor of London. Artist Helena Doyle collaborated with young people aged 8 - 11 years old to create a new piece of installation art for London Craft Week. The installation is made entirely from waste and non-recyclable materials in order to highlight the abundance of waste materials that exist in the UK. The installation will be exhibited at Stour Space gallery in Hackney Wick from Friday 2nd October to Friday 16th October. Images: Christian Sinibaldi
