Hero Mother was an exhibition curated by Bojana Pejic & Rachel Rits-Volloch which featured over 30 artists from post-soviet countries re-thinking the concept of heroism. The exhibition featured works from acclaimed artists such as Marina Abramovic, Tania Bruguera and Sanja Ivekovic. During this project I was working as a curatorial assistant, which included roles such as writing text for the catalogue, researching the artists and their works, installing and deinstalling the works, checking the funding budgets, social media and liaising with artists and galleries.
