After it looks like he has lost her forever, Joe Ridley bumps into his twice dumped ex- girlfriend Elly Parker at one of his bi-nightly house parties. After much convincing and with the obvious attraction still apparent she gives him a third and final chance. Their passionate and loving relationship picks up where the other two started. But soon enough Joes previous problems emerge, his commitment shy ways and mood swings beginning to remind Elly why she left him previously. With this in mind Joe asks her to move in with him to prove he can be the person she wants. But with this Elly has the opportunity to see what Joe goes through twenty four hours a day. His shadowed thoughts and demons bubbling just under the surface. Having struggled with dark, suicidal thoughts since his Fathers death twenty years before Joe is in a constant battle with Black Eyes. The physical manifestation of depression in his mind. As the Black Eyes makes his way further and further into Joes life, his relationship with Elly begins to disintegrate. Will Joe overcome his demons and face himself in the final battle for his own mind? Will he open up to Elly to save not only his relationship, but possibly his life?
