Founded in 1906 by JM Rivera, Hijos de Rivera remains a family business, guided by their unwavering commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Our logotype draws inspiration from an iconic 1960s mural by Ángel Atienza, gracing the walls of the original Estrella Galicia factory in A Coruña, Spain, which now serves as their museum. It portrays a hidden seed within the 'R,' symbolizing Rivera's initial endeavour in 1906, safeguarded by the 'H' ('Hijos' meaning 'sons'), representing the descendants who have preserved their local Galician roots, quality, and legacy while elevating the brand to global acclaim. As a holding company, their logotype is one of the few elements in direct contact with the public through their brand packaging. To ensure a harmonious brand system, we've incorporated a timeless black and white design, complemented by symbols inspired by local Celtic petroglyphs and Atienza's mural. These symbols serve as a universal language throughout their organization, from signage and merchandise to their various locations.Corporación Hijos de Rivera, S.A.U. has grown 12% in the one year since our rebrand. Inditex also sneaks into the ranking with three of its brands: Zara, Pull&Bear and Bershka.
