Vision. The Holodomor Museum Fund was created to fund the construction and functioning of the National Holodomor Museum - a living memorial to Holodomor victims and a research centre, which will inspire Ukrainians and all other international communities and their leaders to fight for freedom, dignity and human rights in the world, and to oppose intolerance, hate, crimes against humanity and genocide. Mission. The Fund is aimed at creating a uniquely integrated museum space to tell the true story of the Holodomor-genocide of the Ukrainian nation through state-of-the-art technologies, as a tribute to Ukraine’s unbowed spirit – in the past, in the present and in the future. Inspiration. Identity for the fund was inspired by its remarkable architectural project. The unique Museum building is the image of Truth about the Holodomor, which is breaking the roof to come out to the light from under the ground after decades of its concealment and suppression. The roof arrangement symbolizes the displacement of lumps of ploughed earth and embodies the actions of thousands of people whose toil resulted in the disclosure of the forbidden verity. Brand System. The logotype was further developed into a system of seemingly consistent elements such as letterhead, letter templates, brand stamp, various posters, and informational cards. Invitations and Brochures The wide range of booklets and brochures were created to attract donations and inform the public of the donor tiers available and the way donors will be noted within the museum. Event invitations were designed and distributed through the mailing lists and in print. Website Design / Website Infographics Holodomor Museum Fund was posting online reports for the funds raised and the way they were used. Special brand graphics was developed to communicate the progress of the construction of the museum. ‘The Road to Truth’ The fundraising event materials were designed for multiple events to raise funds for the museum. Designs included printed banners, presentation templates, flyers, support badges.
