HOMETOWN GLORY for ONSETTMAG Creating an image in which juxtaposes its surroundings, the concept of ‘HOMETOWN GLORY’ is a pure reflection of what it is like to be a creative in a small town – simply not fitting in. Wishing to pay homage to my roots, the shoot took place not far from my hometown. ‘Born and Bred’ in a small town up north, I wanted to emulate the love hate relationship I created with my hometown; a childhood of innocence surrounded by nature – the great lack of creative support & finding likeminded others. Compiling these into a zine, alongside a submissions programme which highlights the Top 25 Emerging Creatives, from small towns. You can find our Zine online for our second drop next week, after a wonderful sell out at our exhibition.
