HOSTING A COLLAGE WORKSHOP

Not Just a Collage: Exploring Heritage Through Collage Sunday 30th July As part of our Summer exhibition, Not Just Brown, Not Just Indian, The Lab is hosting two exciting creative workshops! In this workshop you will learn how to collage with materials from everyday life to celebrate the diversity of culture, language, art and design within the South Asian community. Join photographer and NJB, NJI creator Mathushaa Sagthidas (@mathuxphotos ) illustrator, Asa Zaman (@asaxarts ) as they share their creative practices and how they relate to their heritage as South Asian women. This workshop is a great opportunity to meet other South Asian creatives living in London and to share a creative practice that celebrates the multiplicity of visual elements in South Asian cultures.
