Hot Blush Zine

Hot Blush is a new feminist zine which I created to act as a platform for female creatives from all industries. Hot Blush started as a reaction to the realisation that female creatives have gone unrecognised for hundreds of years, with majority of well known historical artists being male (Picasso, Vincent Van Gogh, Leonardo da Vinci). In exploration to the female gaze many female artists are now expressing their right to create. Producing a zine that is solely for female artists means that these women can empower one another by working together to produce a beautiful piece of art to be enjoyed by others. I created all photographic content for my zine as well as all of the typography. Illustrations were done by the credited artists. www.hotblushzine.co.uk
