Here is a little 'tutorial' on how to apply HOURGLASS make-up and create the classic 'Marilyn' look. For this I started with the traditional animation technique of drawing frame by frame on paper and capture that on the defunct Omega machine (super old school!). This only happened because I 'recycled' some animation exercises I made when I was at college, UAL - Central St Martins in 2005, on the course where at the time we were learning animation all the way from with the traditional method. A long and laborious procedure which rough and vintage look to me is still the most interesting and captivating... For this HOURGLASS cosmetics video I drew and coloured the animation in Procreate and then edited in After Effect with the unmissable help of PSD for prepping the still assets. HOURGLASS is a cruelty free cosmetics brand, all vegan because animals feel like us and the planet needs to be looked after :) Music: Sophia Loren - Zoo Be Zoo Be Zoo
