My name is Jean (French) I’m a filmmaker https://work.jbl3productions.com and a sport massage therapist. I’m currently trying to raise £4500 to travel to Cameroon (Central Africa) with my Camera Operator to film a Documentary about street vendors. I was recently there (January) and I met Valere, a baker located in Douala, Cameroon who sells cakes by walking through various neighbourhoods and thoroughfares to reach potential customers. He agreed to speak to me and gave me a brief insights into the struggles him and other street vendors face in third world countries like Cameroon. The decision to create this film goes beyond simple curiosity. It's a deliberate effort to share the often-overlooked stories of those who, despite facing many challenges, show incredible determination to make a living. It will be a platform that will give them the chance to share their voices, stories, and successes. The Goal is therefore to go to Cameroon and film for two weeks. It will be expensive as I am my own producer, the camera operator travel, accommodation, visa fees are all on me and July is getting closer.
