Human and Earth
I used one of the 2016 D&AD briefs as a practice brief. All my videos are focused on the concept of sustainability and show the importance of preserving the planet. I added Chinese Calligraphy to bring a multicultural, or even global, element to my work.

The tragedy is the subject for my third video, which shows that planet Earth is deteriorating due to mankind’s failure to be sustainable. These three films are heavily associated with each other and all tell the story of the need to follow nature’s example and be sustainable. Regarding the previous two films, they are two perspectives to show how the world should be preserved and how it is being maintained, this last one is showing the consequence of that.
For my second video subject, I chose Voyage and Return and showed a paper making process. This story seeks to emphasise mankind’s approach to consuming which is not sustainable. This film concept is intended to be the opposite of the Rebirth film. It shows the reverse of nature being a sustainable example to show how mankind consumes natural resource in a non-sustainable way.
