Hundreds of baskets

Exhibition Um cento de cestos (Hundreds of baskets) came to a life as an initiative of the organisation Passa ao Futuro, which focuses on a documentation of Portuguese craftsmanship and artisans heritage, connecting it with contemporary design world and large public. Focal point of this exhibition is an art of basketery, its techniques and history, also showcasing how it is approached by designers now days, connecting past, present and future of this remarkable craft.
