I W D 19. Empowering Young Females in Brazil using Street Art

This short documentary chronicles the journey of one of our lead artists; Sophie Meseg as she travels to Brazil with filmmaker Emily Hatter to work with the Meninadanca charity. Meninadanca work with young females around the areas of the 116 highway; the worst area in the world for child prostitution. Our aim with this project was to raise awareness of the uplifting work Meninadança do within the community, as it defends the rights and aids the wholesome development of affected girls. Sophie helped Meninadança to inspire and establish a connection with some of the harder to reach at-risk young females, and we will continue to support the charity by raising money for its on-going work.
