Identity for The World Health Organisation's Non-Communicable Diseases Programme

  • Charlotte Allen

I was approached by The WHO to come up with a new identity for the NCD's programme, which covered in-depth scientific reports covering the four main diseases, cancer, cardiovascular, diabetes and respiratory. I chose to use the outline of the face, positioned in a way to resemble hope and strength. Each outline represents each of the four diseases, assigned a colour. The colours were then used in two tones for the gradient background on the front covers, and the inside pages. The reports can be seen here on their site: https://www.euro.who.int/en/publications/abstracts/diabetic-retinopathy-screening-a-short-guide-2020?utm_content=bufferfd919&utm_medium=social&utm_source=linkedin.com&utm_campaign=global For more information about the project read here: https://charlotteallen.uk/02--world-health-organisation.html
