IF ITS TO BE SAID OF THE BLACK LOVE / SHIFTING TIMES WE CAPTURE IN STILLS, PERSPECTIVE

  • Tammy Gede

If you could say something about the love in the black British community, let it be said that we love deeply, we take care of each other, we find comfort in the tender skins of each other be it in a hug, a spud, or a handshake. Let it be said, that we stand together, we love together, we thrive together. The perspective is key, 1960 from the eyes of 2019 seemed so terrible a time where people marched for basic human rights. Its never linear though, as some would call it the golden age, the hue and colours morphed and warped, Black &/V White, to Colour being accepted. But shift it does and always will, Shifting times, we capture in stills.
