Metamorphosis: the process
“As Gregor Samsa awoke one morning from uneasy dreams he found himself transformed in his bed into a gigantic insect.” (F. Kafka)
Vivienne Westwood Graphic Design Internship Competition

The competition was designed to select new creatives for a graphic design internship position by realizing short animations, aiming to promote a new upcoming collection. Since short and eye-catching videos are essential to digital marketing campaigns, especially on social media platforms, I've created these short, colourful gif in order to not only appeal to the audience but also match the style of the fashion brand.
A Separate Reality

"The reality of our day-to-day life, then, consists of an endless flow of perceptual interpretations which we have learned to make in common. I am teaching you how to see as opposed to merely looking, and ‘stopping the world’ is the first step to seeing” (C. Castaneda)
The Untold

Illustration series based on "Leaning from the Steep slope", the third non-ending short story of Italo Calvino's tale "If on a winter's night a traveler...".
The story is told by a presumed male character, whose understanding of the things around him is unique, as his “observation” of surroundings is subject to his “interpretation”.
I used photographic images as a starting point, blending them together, manipulating their form and creating new spaces through geometrical shapes in order to reflect the distorted reality of the protagonist.
