BRIEF During London’s strict COVID lockdowns, I was inspired to create something that people could share with a friend to let others know they are thinking of them. DESIGN I drew a variety of playful scenes by hand and turned them into postcards that could be sent and then used as mini–prints to display. I used four colourful backgrounds to bring each design to life. The ‘Moonclouds’ design was inspired by looking at the night sky, wondering what friends and family across the globe might be up to. The ‘Flora’ design was inspired by daydreams of wildflower fields and the peaceful moments in nature we all needed during the pandemic. The postcards were sold on my website and shared with loved ones. The entire project was completed by myself as a labour of love — ideation, illustration, design, print management, art direction for the photoshoot, photography, packaging and marketing.
