Midori Nohara was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1989. In 2011 she
graduated with a BA in Scenography, Display and Fashion Design from Musashino Art University in Tokyo. She moved in London in 2012 to focus on fashion design and started her BA degree of Fashion Design Technology Womenswear at London College vof Fashion and will be completed in 2015.
This is a book featuring Midori’s
illustration about her final collection.
The inspiration of the collection came from the secret stories behind the commodities. The aim is to express the great history of various commodities from our past as well as present generations and convey these stories for
generations to come. The collection is Ready-to-wear Womenswear AW collection and has an aesthetic of
minimalistic feminine inspired design.
All illustrations in this book are drew by Midori with pencils, pens, watercolours, aclyrics, and oil paints.
Midori has been chosen and featured in a LCF annual
illustration book as one of good illustrators in LCF in 2013.
