These are a selection of my illustrations which have all been completed using uni Pin fine liners in varying sizes.
The first illustration is drawn from a photograph of a bird I saw in Morocco, I aimed to capture the quality of the bird's feathers whilst simulatanously creating a delicate and minimalist image.
The second is drawn from a photograph of my mum as a young child with her favourite doll. My goal was to create a highly detailed image in order to fully capture her facial expression, and the high-contrast was intended to compliment the original sepia tones from the photograph.
The third is a portrait of Brigitte Bardot, I experimented with line and texture to create a unique image to pay homage to a unique artist.
