With this performance I describe the feeling of being stuck in my own body due to my mind. (Im)Mobility shows the feeling of being unable to act, the continuous formulation of ideas without ever putting them into practice. It is the feeling of being trapped, chained to bad habits, while time goes by it seems like we are settling for the bare minimum to live. I decided to physically experiment immobility during the first ten minutes of the performance, describing this feeling as something that was keeping me in a cage. In the second part, I practised a liberation dance, a ritual that made me able to free my body and my mind.
