Bares All (Digitally, Anyway)
Nudes? Been there, done that. Self-portraits? Yawn. So, I (Nat, by the way) decided to strip down to the digital core. In a subversive twist on homosexuality and self-exposure, I'm inviting you to experience my form in a 3D scan, animated, and endlessly malleable.
By introducing a second form, scanned from the same body , I wanted to challenge heteronormative visions within representations of the body. Two "identical" forms become a visual celebration of queer intimacy and an exploration of desire beyond traditional expectations.
connection, support, conflict, love
Like lovers engaged in an ecstatic, fluid dance
As the forms merge, separate, dance, or transform, the project challenges fixed notions of identity. Identity, and even queer identity, becomes fluid and unbounded.
