In Event of A Lead Balloon, Is a publication which explores 'mistakes and bad happenings'. Weighing 2kg, the covers of the book are made from 5mm thick steel sheets, to replicate the weighted decision making process which sometimes leads to disaster. Within the books pages are speeches written for world leaders In the Event of bad happenings for example; a third world war or not returning home from the moon. Alongside this, I collected 35mm film mistakes; light bleed, photo crossovers etc. from friends and turned these mistakes into beautiful interludes between the weighted speeches our world leaders could've spoken, changing our lives.
