My response to the brief which was to examine and narrate a character in Dylan Thomas' radio play "Under Milk Wood"
I chose to examine the life of Mrs Ogmore-Pritchard, a woman so obsessed with cleaning and sterilizing that it drove one of her husbands to suicide.
After their deaths they continue to roam the old house as though they were still alive and performing their cleaning tasks.
I manually bleached and scrubbed out the ghostly figures of the dead husbands through the use of cleaning fluid and a kitchen sponge, two things Mrs Ogmore-Pritchard would never be without.
