I took notice of comments made online by renowned techno artist, Cosmin TRG, about the conundrum of small and mid-size clubs being denied a certain calibre or price point of artists, and how this had an overall negative effect on the nightlife industry. Spotting an opportunity, I got in contact with his agent and soon organised for him to headline the next Incognito event.
We flew him in from Berlin to the leafy environs of Berkshire, an amusing contrast. I created an event playing off his international stature and suitability for the musical zeitgeist created by our nights. After a hugely successful sell-out event we received plaudits from Benji B, DJ mag, and others for the coup of such a booking. Of course to capitalise on this a video was commissioned to showcase the night:

Cosmin TRG is one of dance musics' most exciting and iconic artists operating right now – the Romanian-born artists DJ sets are world-renowned, with productions that light up the dance floors he can't reach in person. A favourite at Berghain, fabriclondon, Control Club and every other techno institution going, he’s also a fiend for the fermenting underground scene he came from, so it was inevitable that he graced Incognito’s warm and slightly greasy decks for our end-of-year blowout.
Starting his career with a seminal early release on Ben UFO’s Hessle Audiolabel and going on to develop a signature sound built from ‘90s era leftfield electronics, warehouse techno…’ and so much more, Cosmin is THAT GUY - from Berlin to Bucharest, from London to Leningrad. We strongly feel that the After Dark is finally going to meet its match, and we cordially invite you to be there when it all goes down. The earth will shake, the walls will crumble and the skies will open to the pure, unadulterated moment of the night – and with Cosmin driving the spaceship, who knows where we’ll end up. Incognito’s scallywag resident DJs will be there to ensure everyone is strapped in safely.
