indented vessels

a work in progress concrete blocks with deep and shallow dents created by force during the process of the concrete being set, rocks and pebbles are pushed into the surface of the concrete, breaking its flat appearance. this creates mounds and forces bulges to form around the stones, an imperfect face to the clean body of the block the imperfections of the rocks and pebbles are imprinted into the concrete, a permanent reminder that the essence of beauty within nature is imperfect too
