Just one place where to discover and play free games. This was our first goal. But now we’re discovering something of new. The passion about the indie games was born when we developed our first games with the first engines that a Dev discovesr: Game Maker and Rpg Maker. Our website born on the RPG Maker Communities. It was a place where to find and vote old and new rpg games uploaded directly by the users.
Discovering the indie games world with indiexpo
Then it was noted by Game Maker and Unity forums and communities, also because the main website of the tool closed the area where the devs shared their games. Game by game the website was growing up and new devs discovered it. It was totally free and it did not sell game. Only free games. Started from amateur games we was discovering the amazing world of the indie games.
When it was popular in “devs communities”, we focused our attention on the Players. No one want to post their game if there’s no one to play it. So we introduced new features, like the “follow-system”, the charts, suggestions.

We love to help the other devs to promote their games, so we realize also video about the best games released, gameplay and funny videos! Thanks to our community, there’re also a lot of devs that share their tips about how to make or how to promote a game on the website’s blog or in funny interviews that you can find also here!
Now indiexpo.net allows thousands of people to discover, watch and share originally-created games. Indiexpo provides an area for people to connect, inform, and inspire others across the globe and acts as a distribution platform for original content creators and advertisers large and small.
