Dentist's suck! This is an info graphic of how I lost my tooth and repeatedly lost it due to the lack of dental care and pure bad luck.
At the age of 12 my dentist removed the wrong tooth. This was the start of an expensive and painful 10 year journey. Braces followed my loss and spanned the gap from 2004 till 2007. In 2007 a plastic retainer provided embrassing and interesting first dates. I had a spot of luck when I found a talented dentist who could make a tooth out of anything. Dr. Wynberg always had patience with me every time I lost my tooth, even though I ate biltong, lost it down the drain and got merry at Oppi Koppi and still can't recall how I lost it. Sadly in 2011 Dr.Wynberg passed away, I no longer had my miracle worker. I had to face the world toothless for a while. 2013- the year of pain: operations, infections, operations, no tooth, big hole and metal retainers. 2014 this is the year of the new tooth.
