In response to a number of emerging trends within the automotive industry, which are prompting a decline in vehicle ownership and a rise in technology-enabled services, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) established an entrepreneurial business called InMotion to create apps and services that help customers access innovative travel and transport solutions such as car sharing, valet parking and insurance products all via their mobile devices.
JLR required an intelligent brand identity solution for ‘InMotion’ that communicated a premium service whilst being highly distinctive, youthful and memorable in the digital space. We worked closely to define creative territories, generate extensive logo concepts and develop a comprehensive brand identity system. This included using the brand colour palette, that was inspired by the shifting colours of the day, to create an innovative app concept that moves with you and adapts to reflect the time of day that you are using it.
