This book is an investigation of the text Iridescence, Intimacies by Tavi Meraud (E-flux Journal, 2015). My research considers the concept of Intimacy through the study of the formation of rocks and geology. Just as the the Earth was formed by a continuous and constant passing of time and movements, this anthropological phenomena is primordial and traceable in the events happened. The project has been produced in collaboration with Alessio Scanziani, PhD student at Imperial College and Alessandra Poltronieri, Doctor of Earth and Science. The publication is composed by the book, and a 5 metres long poster. The book has been printed in lithographic, riso graphic and digital print.
